What You'll Do:
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and happiness of our patients and the satisfaction of our clients. Your day-to-day will include:
- Caring for Patients: Assess animal needs through examinations, interviews, and diagnostic tests. You'll provide hands-on care like taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, and more.
- Assisting in Procedures: Be an essential part of our team during surgeries and examinations by preparing instruments, assisting the veterinarian, and providing top-notch nursing care.
- Ensuring a Clean, Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and humane environment by keeping rooms, cages, and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Managing Medications: Accurately fill prescriptions, administer medications, and handle controlled substances securely.
- Maintaining Records: Keep detailed medical records updated with the latest patient information and treatments.
- Communicating with Clients: Provide pet parents with updates and information about their furry loved ones.
- Keeping Things Running Smoothly: Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and stay on top of your veterinary game by participating in educational opportunities.

Who You Are:
- You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- You bring 2+ years of experience in veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for both routine and critical patients.
- Ideally, you are a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) (depending on state requirements).
